How practice readiness works
Practice readiness brings together recent accuracy and coverage of the PSW Leap question bank. It helps you choose what to study next. It is not a probability of passing your certification exam.
Start with enough evidence
Your score stays provisional until you have answered at least 100 different active questions in the last 30 days, with at least 10 from every active module. For a module with fewer than 10 questions, answer all available questions. For a bank smaller than 100 questions, the overall minimum is the bank size.
One correct answer cannot establish readiness. Repeating the same question does not increase your unique question coverage.
How the score is calculated
For each active question, we use your most recent answer from the last 30 days. Within each module, accuracy is correct answers divided by different questions answered. We average those module accuracies, weighted by each module's share of the active PSW Leap question bank.
Practice readiness = sum of (recent module accuracy × module share of the active bank)
These weights describe our question bank. They are not an official NACC exam blueprint. Learn, Practice, study sets and submitted mock-exam answers can contribute. Withdrawn questions are excluded.
Read the evidence alongside the number
- Question coverage: different active questions you have answered at any time, compared with the current bank size.
- Recent accuracy: your latest answers to different questions in the last 30 days. This can appear while the overall score is still provisional.
- Module coverage: modules with enough recent questions to meet the sampling minimum. Study the remaining modules to broaden your evidence.
- Latest mock exam: a separate score and completion date. Review its mistakes and unanswered items alongside your practice results.
Why the result changes
New answers replace older answers to the same question in the recent sample. Answers also leave that sample after 30 days, and the active question bank may change. If your sample becomes too small, the score returns to provisional. Streaks and minutes do not add readiness points.
Use benchmarks as study guidance
PSW Leap uses 65% as its own mock-exam practice benchmark. It does not establish the official pass mark or guarantee an exam result. Follow your college's current exam instructions. Prior exposure to questions can improve practice scores without demonstrating retention, so include fresh questions and timed mock exams in your study.
